NEWS ANNOUNCEMENT: February 3, 2008

How can one keep up with news regarding Covenant Radio? Very simple. There are a number of ways:

1. You can subscribe to the email newsletter put out by the hosts of Covenant Radio (note: this is NOT a discussion email list).
2. You can check back often to this website for breaking news or important information.
3. You can check out the Covenant Radio blog for news and information as well as other news worthy items that are of interest in the Church.
4. You can subscribe to the Covenant Radio email discussion group and/or the Covenant Radio web based discussion forum.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: February 1, 2008

As our listeners are aware we have been testing a LIVE feature for Covenant Radio with our friends at TalkShoe. At this current time TalkShoe has released a new interface that allows our listeners to access the LIVE stream without downloading or registering with their service. However, due to some slight glitches in this new interface, we strongly recommend that our listeners, if they are interested in listening and participating in the LIVE broadcast, to register and download the chat client at TalkShoe. Here is how you can do so.

1. The service is entirely FREE
2. Go here to register an account.
3. After registration is complete go here to download the client (free).
4. When Covenant Radio is LIVE simply go to our LIVE page and click the "TalkShoe Live Pro" icon in the center top of the page. This will launch your player that you downloaded in step #2.
5. When you join the chat the audio will start to stream automatically and you will be able to utilize the chat features of the client you downloaded.
6. You can always listen to the LIVE stream without chatting capabilities on the Covenant Radio website player located in the sidebar on the right hand side of this page.

This information will be available on our FAQ pages (with screen shots) under the heading "How can I Listen with the TalkShoe client?"

As usual, all of our broadcasts will be available as podcasts after the LIVE broadcast is completed.

Also, as Covenant Radio looks to streamline your listening experience we have adjusted the current RSS feed to a brand new feed. Please update your RSS reader, as soon as you are able, to the new feed at www.covenantradio.com/feeds/covenantradio.xml. The current feed located at feedburner will continue to work for the next few months but will be discontinued by March 1, 2008. .
